Powercode Hardware Overview

The Powercode BMU (Bandwidth Management Unit) is a router that interfaces directly with the Powercode Billing Engine to enable quick, simple and configuration free customer provisioning on your network.

The Powercode BMU can be quickly integrated into your existing network to begin immediate provisioning of new customer accounts. All functionality of the hardware can be controlled directly from the Powercode and BMU web interface. Multiple BMUs can be controlled via Powercode to enable higher subscriber count support or to add some resiliency to the network.

Powercode MAXX-104G BMU

The Powercode MAXX-104G BMU is a 1RU router designed to interface directly with the Powercode Billing Engine.

The MAXX-104G BMU is designed to sit between your edge router and your customer base to control and provision individual customer services. The MAXX-104G BMU can be deployed as a single router or across the network for greater scalability and redundancy. The MAXX-104G is our top of the line device designed for large networks.

For customers that require additional interfaces, there are a variety of interface upgrade cards available for the MAXX-104G to add additional copper or SFP based interfaces.
